The symbolic “heat” represented not only a red-hot team on the field, but also a literal challenge — the home clubhouse air conditioning unit broke during a stretch of high 90-degree temperatures and 100% humidity. Despite the sweltering conditions, the team stayed hot, clinching the franchise’s earliest playoff berth and setting multiple season records. This hype intro video energized the hometown crowd as the team took the field against the rival Lancaster Stormers, going 3–1 in the divisional series and 3–0 against the Charleston Dirty Birds to capture the 2024 ALPB Championship.
